LIME HOLLOW HOLDS “MOTHER’S DAY TREE SALE” Tree pick-up day Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 10:00am-4:00pm Lime Hollow Center for Environment and Culture Visitor Center, 338 McLean Road, Cortland ,NY 13045
Sale ended 4/23 - The sale features “RPM” trees that grow 3-times faster than ordinary nursery trees. The price per tree is $45. And 100% of the proceeds go directly to Lime Hollow – thanks to a generous contribution from Gutchess Lumber Company. Celebrate Mother’s Day with a gift to your mother – and to Mother Nature. Order forms are available at www.limehollow.org, by calling 607-662-4632, or by stopping at the Lime Hollow Center on McLean Road. This five piece fast rising young bluegrass band out of Anchorage, Alaska has been wowing audiences across North America since 1999. They feature powerful emotive vocals, moving arrangements and instrumental excellence backed up by solid rhythm. General Admission $20; Seniors $16; Students with ID and Under 14 Free. Saturday, May 10th: Dance Demonstration 7pm Dowd Fine Arts Theatre SUNY Cortland Admission Free
The performance is a mix of demonstration of class exercises and techniques with pieces staged by faculty and by students. Recreations of original Broadway choreography, a ballet set to the music from Sweeny Todd, a stage combat demonstration, tap, jazz and contemporary dances, all performed by students in the dance classes at SUNY Cortland, many of them choreographed by students.
