The price per tree is $45. And 100% of the proceeds go directly to Lime Hollow – thanks to a generous contribution from Gutchess Lumber Company. Celebrate Mother’s Day with a gift to your mother – and to Mother Nature. Tree pick-up day will be Saturday May 10, the day before Mother’s Day. Lime Hollow: It’s where you belong.   Saturday, May 10th: Bearfoot, Bluegrass Band 8pm Homer Center for the Arts 72 S. Main St., Homer This five piece fast rising young bluegrass band out of Anchorage, Alaska has been wowing audiences across North America since 1999.  They feature powerful emotive vocals, moving arrangements and instrumental excellence backed up by solid rhythm. General Admission $20; Seniors $16; Students with ID and Under 14 Free. Call 607 749-4900 for tickets or go to www.center4art.org  To preview Bearfoot, you can go to the Center’s website at www.center4art.org <http://www.center4art.org/>, click upcoming events and click Bearfoot and you will find a media player that has pictures plus sample MP3s.   Saturday, May 10th: Dance Demonstration 7pm Dowd Fine Arts Theatre SUNY Cortland Admission Free The performance is a mix of demonstration of class exercises and techniques with pieces staged by faculty and by students.  Recreations of original Broadway choreography, a ballet set to the music from Sweeny Todd, a stage combat demonstration, tap,  jazz and contemporary dances, all performed by students in the dance classes at SUNY Cortland, many of them choreographed by students.   Saturday, May 10th: Colleen Kattau & Some Guys 9pm Lucky's 77 Main St., Cortland   For more events click Events Calendar
